We currently have our own dental clinic in the Philippines, which was established in April 2019. Prior to this, I worked as a dental assistant in Dubai for 10 years (2009-2019), where I was responsible for handling digital dentistry. We used E4D Systems, now known as Planmeca, and I was in charge of designing and milling ceramic restorations.
Now, our small digital lab at the clinic is gaining recognition among other dentists in the Philippines, who are starting to send us their cases. They appreciate the accuracy of the restorations after the milling process. In our clinic, we complete about 90% of our cases using same-day digital dentistry. The speed and accuracy of our milling machine make this possible.
Could you tell us the advantages of dental CAD/CAM over the analogue system?
It’s fast, efficient, and most importantly, accurate!
How long have you been using DGSHAPE products?
I have been using DGSHAPE products since we started our clinic in 2019.
What do you think is the advantage of DGSHAPE products?
I previously used the Planmeca Planmill40 system in Dubai. I prefer DGSHAPE milling equipment because of its ease of use and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently. Unlike the Planmeca system, which experienced considerable downtime even with minor technical issues, DGSHAPE equipment minimizes disruptions and allows for smoother operations.
